An orchestral version was used as the theme to BBC Radio's "Desert Island Discs" devised by Roy Plomley in the 0s and still going today.

Ah, those were the days: 1953, Roylance Barkingside and ballroom dance lessons with my lovely Andrea. Mmmmmmmm......................

What year was this beautiful song composed? A friend of mine had this song on a 78. It sounded like it was from the early 1930s. It was a very atmospheric slow fox trot, I wish I knew who the artest was. But I Think it had the dorsey brothers in the orchestra. anyway what a wonderful record it was!
