  • Thank you, thank you for your series of vids showing the '09 fires, the winter rains and mud flows, and, finally, the clearing of the debris basins. I've just read John Mcphee's story, LA Against the Mountains, which discusses similar cycles circa the '70s and '80s. I wanted to know more and then I found this, the story in detail! Even earlier they were running out of places to put the basin debris. Where did this vast load go?
