  • is there anything available (amongst the pile of shit that we call music) today that can match the beauty of thin lizzy ??? anything at all i ask you?? no one even comes close - a unique band that don't get the appreciation they truly deserve... those lyrics, those riffs, those solos ... nothing at all that can match the one and only thin lizzy... a great band indeed...

  • They were brilliant live! End of story. Get over it!

Anyone who thinks any of 'Live and Dangerous' isn't real live is puddled. I'm disgusted it's even considered. Wake up!

  • @olithestrangish it's only a slide on the g string

  • @nuncjusz1 i agree. Peace... AC/DC bon scott don't forget

  • @lordnewry Sorry man, as much as I like Thin Lizzy i can never say they are better than The Beatles. But hey, I will never say that The Beatles are better either. Simply because i just don't think you can compare bands that play completely different music. Bands that played in different time periods, had different inspiration and different 'aims'. I can compare Thin Lizzy with other hard rock bands of the 70's (LZ, DP etc). but not with The Beatles, it's a ridiculous idea to compare these bands

  • @nuncjusz1 Die hard is shit... just like your comment.. both bands are great, but i prefer thin lizzy... rock and hard rock are best

  • 0ne of my fav bands.. and i only have a few

  • yeah they didnt but them and others like motorhead, ufo set the standard for what would become a musical phenomenon called heavy metal

  • Comments about the 'Live and Dangerous' double lp (later cd) being this gig are wide of the mark. It's the same era, but not this gig. I remember seeing the Rainbow gig on BBC TV in late '78/early 79.

  • ye i think this actually live, guitar solos are diff to the cd

  • the live album was remixed but this is lizzy live and dangerous
