My sister saw it in 1985, the year I was born for its re-release to theaters, since she was too young to go see movies in 1982. Then in 1988, the year it finally came to video tape, we bought it for Thanksgiving that year. Watched it so many times, the video wore out and bought it again in 1996 when it was re-released onto video tape. Nowadays we all have it on it's rare 2-disc DVD from 2003, which includes both it's original 1982 and the enhanced 2002 versions.
