15 points for his team at Nationals isn't that bad! The 6th guy on that team didn't even count for the team score and went to the Olympics. He's real and so humble it's almost sickening. Coach Martins program is a carbon copy of him. He's real though. I remember Deena Kastor (Drossin) training under him when she was just "talented" and she really took to him and had a lot of nice things to say about him back then. (She was a little wimpy some days though) just sayin.
Anyway a great great person.

I went to ASC as well and attempted to run cross country and track. Hearing this lecture brings back memories. Dr. Vigil's teachngs are not just about running but about life. I wish I could actualize Dr. Vigil's philosophy.

I always knew that I would run forever, not just during high school, but I wish I had been inspired to run faster, train harder.
