This is a Promo Film from The 1971 Saul McHardly Album "BULL".....
"Wild Flower Child"...
Songwriter and instruments JP Van der meij,
Acoustic Guitar Bert Ridderbos,
Video By Marcel Vossen......Following the release of this song in 1971, sales of Beef Burgers went through the roof, leaving a very solemn Saul McHardly to quote at the time " A lot of people have misinterpreted the song, its an injoke, the song IS about a Burger, but not the kind you'd buy from a Freezer Compartment"...
One Year Later Saul's Wife Belinda released her own range of Vegetarian food and "Belinda McHardly's Veggie Burgers" became a Massive Hit with Family's the World over....

Im so very Vegetary
That is my eating style
But i'll merger with her Burger
If it will make her wild

I love the green beans and the beet greens
Like a true chlorophile
But i'll merger with her burger
If it will make her wild

There's a certain nasal itching
Vegetation grows high
But i'll merger with her Burger
And it does make her wild

Dooooooo

Sure makes her wild so wild
Do do do do do do

Flower Child Flower Child
Na na na na na na na
Wild Flower Child

  • I want Paul to hear and see these - they're pretty awesome. Then, when Paul has his next concert, I want Stevie to come out and sing this!

  • Oh man - I really dig this stuff. You are one of the few that can do a parody right, with accuracy, homage and FAB HUMOR! Now I want this album - ON VINYL!

  • Love this man since the day i saw him.

Great Macca, Lennon, Harrison, Starr, Traveling Wilburys, Petty and all the others!

The most i love are McCartney, Lennon, Starr and the Bee Gees.

  • @RevSpike I agree. Sir Paulie SHOULD hear Steve, and have him on stage with him. if Sir Paulie was not feeling in top form and up to a performance, Steve could fill in fer him.

  • maybe this is the real paul after all of these years and hes coming up through the disguise of you tube. It could happen.

  • Ha ha! He has Paul and Paul's style down. Could have been a real McCartney tune! Good punning!

  • a little deep, cool tho, paul may not like you tho

  • hahahahah the beaver :)

  • Stevie, I believe Ringo mad a huge mistake by not recording " Don't Turn Me Down".. Your song Wild Flower Child Saul, Is a great tribute to Paul in the "Paul and Linda McCartney" early times. I was waiting for you to grab one of those animals by the horns. That's how reminiscent the song was for me, besides my father's name being Saul. Job well done sir! Your friend, Neil From Imagine The Beatles Tribute Band

  • That's a good wig, Steve!

  • Brilliant, Saul!!! ;-)
