Connecting two batteries in series like this will output 12 volts. Connected in parallel (pos to pos and neg to neg) you get 6 volts but twice the amperage. I can't answer your 14v question, sorry. I'd be afraid the 2 volt battery would overcharge and explode.

Does this give you 12v? I'm wondering how I would wire a 12 volt with a 2 volt, to make 14v.. Any ideas? only problem is I would need either a 14v charger. Or a 12v charger and a 2v charger.
