http://www.calsinus.com Frontal sinusotomy - RIGHT SIDE. Patient with chronic sinus infections and polyps. Middle turbinate is to the right, agger nasi cell (ethmoid cell present in most individuals) to left of middle turbinate. Image guidance is used to confirm anatomy prior to dissection. A suction curette is used to stay along the middle turbinate and fracture the agger nasi cell toward the eye. Its bony fragments are then removed, allowing view of the frontal sinus.
