Guam- Off-island animal lovers have begun to show their concern over the homeless Guam greyhounds. In fact, greyhound organizations in Massachusetts and California are offering donations and plan on sending a photographer to Guam this weekend to document the plight of the race dogs and help find them homes.
As of newstime, Guam Greyhound Park was unavailable for comment. However, Senator Judi Guthertz has chimed in on the matter...saying she wants racetrack officials to use gain adoption policies.
@waveriderz i remember this, i use to live on guam, heres the story, guam race track shut down, due to payments, and gambling (prob A, B) they had no idea what to do, and they gave them out, i actually addopted 3 of them, and they are verry healthy :) it is a shame though, but some people commited to help

....it's a shame these animals aren't being cared for by the owners of the race park....as business owners these people had some idea of what might happen if the race track closed...they should be made responsible for finding good homes for the breed not just handing them out to anyone to fix their problem...guess once the money is made no one gives a s**t about them!
