  • @jjny05 Taiwan isn't alowed to say that though, or else Big Brother China will get angry. So it's not that simple.

  • first, taiwan is an independent sovereign country and has been for decades. taiwan has her own govt, president, military, economy. she is in no way ruled by communist china.

second, more and more taiwanese identify themselves as "taiwanese" as a nationality and their nation as "taiwan" and therefore dont support the official name of "republic of china" as that is an antiquated vestige of KMT philosophy brought over in 1949. the ROC is a dying entity. long live the ROT- Republic of Taiwan!!!!

  • @xiningok Not every country is bought off by the CCP. over a dozen countries still recognize the Republic of China. Most countries only adhere to the one-China policy out of greed and desire to appease the CCP.

  • "Which has been independent since 1949"... NO. WRONG. Republic of China repossessed Taiwan from Japan in 1945, and the Republic of China has been in existence for over 99 years, since 1911, when it overthrew the Manchurian founded Qing Dynasty.

  • yes, maybe you are right in some countrys, but what is your goverment opinion ,you can consult your Ministry of Foreign Affairs, they agree with me

  • @xiningok Taiwan is Taiwan, China is China, even my high skwl world hist text book shows "TAIWAN" on the map, perhaps you should study more, jst saying..

  • is this talkshow, taiwan is part of china ,isnot it known by all the world, every country recognise that

  • This is the most pointless video I have ever seen.

  • i think he is rehearsing for a presentation he plans to give to his class. Dude give up on learning this shit. You won't understand.

  • @jjny05 taiwan isnt a country, republic of china is. Internationally the US and UN only recognise one China and thats the communist PRC.
