ESPN the Magazine named this the worst choke in NCAA tournament history.

Poor Chris. At least he went on to a great NBA career.

It's true that the bench was telling him to call timeout but come on - this was Chris Webber he would've just choked in some other way on his own. Shit, he traveled a mile to begin with

WHILE he was an assistant coach, but I'm not going to play the stats game, that shit is played out, you can find stats that favor coaches and stats that don't favor them in every case. I have to revoke my previous statement, I think pop is the best coach in the NBA.

Are you...high? Thibs was Rivers' assistant for years, focused purely on defense. Take the last three years of points allowed per game. 2012-2013 Bulls 3rd Boston 11th 2011-2012 Bulls 1st Boston 2nd 2010-2011 (Thibs' first year) Bulls 2nd Boston 1st His defense is shit? Think again. Let's look at points per game: 2012-2013 Bulls 30th (however, take injuries into account...Rose, Noah, Hinrich, Bellinelli, etc) Boston 19th 2011-2012 Bulls 18th Boston 26th 2010-2011 Bulls 20th Boston 23rd.

debatable, I think generally thibs is a better offensive coach but his defence is shit, Doc is more well rounded and a solid defensive coach.

If you watch the documentary 32 was screaming from the bench to call a timeout and Chris listened not knowing it would be the biggest mistake in NCAA history. That's why 32 was clapping...and that's why Chris screams at him after he makes the call. Smh...I love UofM but this moment in history still gets me super depressed!!!

Yea but It shouldn't even have went that far. Webber traveled after the rebound. N. Carolina deserved that win.
