Eclipse Movie Update: Kirsten Prout Added To Cast

And so the Eclipse cast gets bigger. A new vampire is added and weve got the story.

Welcome back to Clevver TV Im Dana Ward.

So as were counting down until New Moon premieres, production on the rest of the Twilight Saga continues. And we just received word that the actress for the character of Lucy has been announced, playing an important role in the Civil War era backstory of Jasper Hale. The lucky lady is Kirsten Prout and shes most notably known for her work in the tv show, Kyle XY. Plus, as a Vancouver native, Kirsten will not be far from home during the Eclipse shoot.

Also in Eclipse news, Jackson Rathbones band 100 Monkeys is reportedly set to submit its own songs for possible inclusion on the 3rd installments soundtrack. As we all know, Twilight star Robert Pattinson definitely got featured on the original movie music album, however, it seems NO cast got included on the New Moon disc, even though 100 Monkeys apparently applied to be featured. Jackson keeps speaking out that its not about the money and how the band is not pressing for its songs to be on the soundtrack, but the members would not complain if it happened ya think??

lucy is one of the vampires that jasper encountered in his past. in the book eclipse, the cullens sort of tell bella how their stories/history and how they became vamps, and when jasper talks about his past, he makes mention of lucy
