@LukeNAESA10 are you sure about the 0-60 times, because i thought jaguar say that the 5.0xkr does it in 4.6. im not slaggin jag off, i think there awesome cars, and faster at the more important speeds, just cant get off the line quite as quick as a porsche, due to less traction. and he did, i havent got any vids of it, but i can get one of the porsche this weekend when i go to see him. and most independant car reveiwers are unbiest, unless they have been paid to say good about cars which i doubt
@oliverb96 Actually Jaguar underestimate their 0-60 times, they said the 2011 XKR does 0-60 in 4.4 seconds, when it actually does it in 4 seconds. So ultimately, their fuel consumption numbers will be wrong. And your arguement is completely invalid anyways, considering you're comparing a V6 to a supercharged V8. And just for the road, what makes you think independant car reviewer is unbiased? I'm in the right mind to thinking your dad never had an XKR.
@LukeNAESA10 just checked now, and jaguar themselves say that the xkr 5.0 combined cycle is 23mpg.. and they will be biest. and independent car reviewer averaged 27 in a carrera s pdk. they will be unbiest
@LukeNAESA10 well.. flat six. we were looking at getting either a maseratie or one of the new xkr's at christmas.. stuck with the porsche. but i remember them saying that they fuel consumption was slightly better than the 4.2. but i dont think it will be as good as the porsche.. just gunna google it.. if im wrong, ill get ack to you!
@oliverb96 You're comparing a naturally aspirated V6 to a 4.2 supercharged V8... of course it will take more fuel. The newer 5.0 XKR models fair much differently to the 4.2 models in terms of fuel consumption.
@LukeXgamer you are wrong on mpg, no where near as good as a porsche, im not been biest, my dad had the 4.2 xkr, that did at most 20-22 on an average trip, thats been generous, we can get about 25-30 out of his carrera s pdk, and he dont really drive like a pussy
@rangerover06sc No sir, that would have to be 3.9s! And, 3.6 (est) for the XKR-S. They actually got 0-60 in 3.9 in the XJ Supersport too. Wow.
