FULL HD VIDEO, due to the "Short-Enough" time duration of the run.
=======================================
This is running the People-Mover Gauntlet at Heywood Memorial Hospital, Gardner, Massachusetts.
The video includes all the other elevators, including the new Otis GeN2's, and the one 3'rd Party Component Westinghouse which I was told, would never be running again, because it breaks down very often.

This is actually a retake, but you never saw the original video, because I forgot the GeN2's, and scrapped it. This was better executed anyhow.
Pardon for the shakiness. Was on a deadline. (Adreneline = quality failure.)

  • Oh God, that Gen2 chime is horrible...at least they put the new NG locks on the doors, which are quieter than the traditional 6940A.

I am surprised that Otis is putting their logo on the door sill again-I thought they stopped doing that a while ago.

  • @thyssenelevator95

I've seen newer Otii with the logos in the sills. I know they don't do it as often, but I still see them.

  • Wonderful, and I thought the Red door Westinghouse was decomissioned, and can you hope to do another gauntlet at Burbank Hospital in Fitchburg on New Year's Day?

  • @MegaZeldafan1

I am contemplating a Gauntlet at Burbank, in January, but not New Year's Day. I only am around there, when I get my car serviced. It'll be due mid month.

  • @georgef551 MUCH similar to Dover ;)

  • @suzzex

Their tractions usually are not that great. Their hydros usually are done well.

  • @suzzex

    Same idea, more or less.

  • @georgef551 By the way have you had any luck with Payne? The ones in Newport, RI are excellent, almost to the standards of high-quality vintage Dovers.

  • @georgef551 Clever idea! Kinda like the stuff I do with modernizations like "DOVIS", "DOVLER", "SCHOTIS", "HOTIS", "THYSSENKROTIS" and so on. :D

  • @suzzex

Yep. It's the three brands, when their installs are not 100% original.

Payne also like to mimmick Northern as well. I only saw one Payne that looked Haughtonish, the fast one at Athol Memorial.
