How to cancel Google Voice and restore voicemail on your iPhone

Crash Tech Dummies does it again! This tells you how to get Google Voice off your iPhone and go back to your normal voicemail. I called verizon and they said to simply hit *73 and send. I disconnects call forwarding. It worked! SUCKS that one can't simply cancel the GOOGLE service. It really takes over everything and there's no indication this will happen once one sign up for the service. My one bad experience with Google and it's a doozie!

Ok, i just solved my own problem...needed to turn the phone off then on again in order to hear people....so anybody who registered their cell phone with google voice...you need to turn your cell off then on again to be able to use it, hope this helps with some people that had same difficulty as me.

google voice is a piece of shit. i can answer and send calls but can no longer hear people on the other line. Now i can't even erase my voice account. piece of shit.

if you have an android phone and downloaded the google voice app, then delete it. it forced me to call people through google voice even when i didn't want to. it might solve some other problems too

soulrebel i called the cust service for google still on hold this is bullshit i want to be able to view my voicemail when i get them on my phone. i tried calling those number but it acts like the number is unavailable
