@Kdaddy61987 MK took the time to repair its storyline at least. SF was ignored, SFII has nostalgics clamoring to it, SFIII was a "generational" thing but skipped years into the future, Alpha was a prequel to all of the other games, and SFIV happens prior to III and after II. Ridiculous. Not because of SF, but because of Capcom. They do this with nearly all of their games short of the original Resident Evils.

@Kdaddy61987 you could say almost anything else but "SF has better character stories" and I would agree with you. SF characters are wrapped around Capcom's thumbs, MK by FAR has better backstories for their characters. There isn't a single decently-detailed SF character, the only ones even relevant are Ryu and Ken, who stop being relevant around SFIV and III, and Akuma, Bison, Urien, and Abel. And even then, the story has been retarded by Capcom for years with a bunch of spin-offs and remakes.

@Kdaddy61987 MK has the best storylines ever, for anything. Street Fighter is slow and stuff. MK is older than Street Fighter and was bigger then street fighter is now before Street Fighter even came out. MK overall is best. the combo controls are perfect. you just need to be good at the game. MK animation is way better. Street Fighter is so choppy.

@xAssassinGx why? The mk series has gone back to more of a street fighter style of gameplay, mk also has the lamest combo controls in all of fighting games. Street fighter also has the better animated movies and series. Mk has some serious fan allum but street fighter by far is the better package and i personelly find they have the better character stories.
