Visiting Homemaker Service - Home Care Provider of Hudson County, Jersey City, New Jersey

"Making a difference in someone's life, better than anyone else" is the purpose of Jersey City based, Visiting Homemaker Service of Hudson County (VHS). To improve the quality of life for those Hudson County neighbors who find help at home necessary, "Caring for a Better Life," is the mission. Visiting Homemaker Service was incorporated in the State of New Jersey in 1959 as a private, non-profit, voluntary organization under the guidance of a Board of Trustees. Since that time homemaker-home health aide care, nursing supervision, and social services have been provided to a wide range of clients, which represent all age groups, diverse cultures, ethnic backgrounds, and economic levels.
