Impressive i guess. You should also post a video on current-level mobs. Fight some merit mobs or something so we can see it in action.

The mobs you're fighting in the vid, A RED MAGE can break 1k+ on those. I'd like to see what pup can do in a merit situation. So help us out!

I'll see what I can do, but the problem in a merit situation is that I don't have a meripo friendly job.

Believe it or not, PUP will be invited to a meripo before a BST ; ;

pup in a meripo ... im brd and yea i think thats not as common as having a person with a relic weapon in pt lol to be fair i inv bst 10-30 and pup 10-50 but then i stick to sam war mnk an co ^^ and yea consider your least 15 lv to high for them hands up anyway. ^^

A well merited PUP actually does very, very good on Greater Colibri's using the Ranger pet, due to the piercing bonus. I've seen 1400+ Armor Piercers on them.

You're missing out by not inviting them if that's what you're meriting on.

Actually PUP can solo a Light SC I believe. I am not one so I'm not 100% sure but I believe it's something like Dragon Kick to Magic Morter.

Idiots that thing job's make the player don't deserve the game. The player is what makes the job what it is, you just need to know how to work it.

people think its lol because there are sooo little that it seems it not even a job and only 1 out of 10 75 pups know how to play it right its probably one of the hardest but most overpowered jobs in this game so fuck you people that say lol pup

PUP is now one of the 4 biggest Abyssea DD's. WAR being nr 1, NIN, MNK and PUP sharing 2nd place. Stringing Pummel is a beast with RR/GH/VV atma, and pup/nin can solo a lot of NM's quicker than normal pick-up groups can. Also the ability to maintain itself with very high evasion and a Cure 6-bot makes it the second most powerful job in Abyssea at the moment (MNK + WHM being first. Counterstance is just too powerful). A job worth to level, folks!

i have both 85 bst and 85 pup. i prefer bst for things that i may not trust my pup to do. however pup is a great job to lvl and is good in certain situations. over all i think by bst gets the job done for me more than pup, but pup is my favorite job.

I enjoyed the hell out of PUP when I lvled it. Sadly though I never was able to get the RNG frame past 239 since I soloed it all the way to 75 so its magic was only thing capped in end. I learned some crazy shit though just through that and even though the Magic was only thing capped it came to be really useful in Abyssea since Blizzard IV, Thunder IV, and Stone V still do around 1200~1300. Gotta love those magic kill shots :P

@Kittylove5 Bull-fucking-shit. You can wear stuff like Battle Gloves for a nice acc+3, upgrade to Combat Mittens+1 for acc+4 att+1, wear Life Belt or Swift Belt, Tabin Boots +1, or AF boots before that, Emp Hairpin, two Sniper's Rings, stuff like Birdbanes for 55-72, the list goes on. You just have to know where to look. Not to mention Aurore being very nice armor for PUP. Though I do agree other melee jobs get more, don't forget PUPcan nuke better than BLM's as well.

@ikhebl0l Sadly enough, mage gear is all Square Enix offers Puppetmasters at lower levels I still have a hard time trying to find something decent but my level is 52. Think I'll go after a Usikane whenever I can get Salvage

Its an underrated job for sure. However this Video does little to help Pup It's case. Show its solo capabilities, Low man versatility, Then its damage on something higher than a Easy prey Monster... People will respect a lot more.

most people go lolpup because they dont like the job and dont want to put the effort into doing the job enough justice, my roommate is a 75 galka pup and he dose some killer damage with his frames
