The Skate Circle in Central Park is a gathering of skaters (quads and inline) and increasingly pedestrians, on Center Drive in Central Park (aka the Dead Road, aka Skaters' Road) on weekend and holiday afternoons through evening. Someone will bring a portable sound system and play music (in defiance of the fuddy-duddy Central Park Conservancy), people will dance, watch, socialize, and have a jolly good time.

"Nick At Night" is the pet name for those occasions when the eponymous local NYC DJ Nick Johnson plays.

One of NYC's best parties, period. Year-round outdoor after party in Central Park every weekend whenever it's at least low 50s and dry, with the maestro DJ Nick Johnson AKA "Nick at Nite". Located beside the skaters' circle, after the skate circle ends around 630pm with the exception of winter months when it starts at 230pm. KEEEP IT RAW in the same spot here in Central Park they've been playin the music since the late 1970s.
