@TastefullyMad No, he wrote part of that one. (He said it was only a couple of lines.) He appeared in a quick cameo in the "Up Your Pavement" bit in episode 42 as Dr. Emile Koning, dressed in green surgical scrubs. In the first scene of "Mr.Neutron" in episode 44, he was one of the pepperpots bringing missiles out to the scrap wagon.
He also co-wrote a bit on the "Holy Grail" soundtrack called "Interview — Director Carl French."

I'd not seen it before now, and I absolutely love it, too!
The "Priest" sketch is actually Michael Palin's personal favorite Monty Python sketch ever, which makes me love it to bits. :)
