man this is not even during rush hour.. you should see the traffic when it is. there's hell of alot more traffic like crazy bumper to bumper all the way,you just move one centemeter at a time and stay in the same spot forever... man it sucks. if your not used to driving in highly conjested area's specially like L.A. you might not wanna drive there.....

man when im scheduled to do buisness meetings in l.A. we always end up canceling them the reason is this because of the dam traffic wow it's just insane i tell you if your running late for something might as well not bother going.....

I think some of these people have just gotten so used to driving so slow, that even when traffic is 'busy' they still drive at such a glacial pace. Everyone needs to step on it a bit more collectively, watch the traffic further ahead, allow people to merge smoothly and keep the pace moving..
