Brooke Greenberg - age 16 1/2 yrs old on Fox And Friends in Aug 2009

Brooke Greenberg (born January 8, 1993 in Baltimore, Maryland) is a 19
year old who has stayed the size of a 1 year old all her life till the present
date (January 2012). Not only has she stayed physically the size of a
toddler, but she also has stayed mentally like a toddler. Of course, it's not
known what she might be thinking inside. She lives in Reisterstown, Maryland,
which is a suburb of Baltimore (about 10 miles north of downtown Baltimore).
She lives with her parents and 3 sisters that love her very much and adore
her. Brooke is 30 inches tall (2 feet 6 inches), weighs 17 lbs. and is
the size of a 1 year old. She has also started to learn how to walk, and
if she grows a little more, she may be soon be able to walk for herself
and be more independent.

In this video, Brooke Greenberg was a guest on "Fox and Friends" which
is a program on Fox News. This was taped in early August 2009, and
at that point, chronologically, Brooke was 16 1/2 years old. She loves
music, and loves to shop (who doesn't??), and car rides, and she also
loves to sit in her baby swings and rock back and forth. Her dad gets her
the best baby swings and toddler swings, as you can clearly see. I get
a little dizzy actually watching her swing back and forth in this video (and
by the way, there is no battery in the swing, her dad said on the show,
so she actually uses movement to propel it back and forth). It is a little
dizzying to me to watch her as she swings back and forth, BUT it's sort
of funny because if I AM the one sitting in a swing going back and forth
it doesn't make me dizzy at all, and I have gone on rides at Disneyland/
Disney World such as the Mad Hatter's Tea Party (aka The Mad Hatter
Tea Cups) and I NEVER get dizzy, in fact, I want to spin it faster, although
unfortunately Disneyland has set a limit to how fast you can spin the tea
cups. Anyway, back to Brooke, I thought that this was a cute video and it
shows her clearly having fun despite her limitations and handicaps. I
know firsthand what it feels like to be like a child, because I have Autism
and I sometimes will act like a 4 1/2-5 year old at times without even noticing that I am acting like one!! Brooke is just a precious, sweet, kind and
compassionate teen who is the size of a toddler, and it shows very clearly
what kind of person she is. She also may be the fountain of youth, as
scientists might discover why she is that way, and so through her, we
might be able to stop our aging processes. This is not to say we won't
die, but we might just look like a 25 year old when we are, say, chronologically
60 years old or 80 years old. And who wouldn't want that?

I believe in this video, little Brooke and her parents were on the show
because they were informing the news media that TLC (The Learning
Channel) was doing a special 1 hour documentary on Brooke. The
documentary was shown on TLC in August 2009, and I do have it on
videotape, but it might take a while before I am able to put it (in seperate
installments) onto YouTube, because there is no way for me to move
a VHS tape to DVD right now, so I may have to ask a friend to do it for me.

Definitely worth watching, in the very least

I just realized this...after reading a news article just now about Stephen Hawking that is his 70th birthday today (he can't come to his celebration sadly because he is too ill right now), I realize that Brooke Greenberg and Stephen Hawking have the same birthday. He is exactly, to the very day, 51 years older than Brooke, since she turned 19 today also. Hawking's birthday is January 8th 1942. Found that out on wikipedia. I didn't know both of them had the same birthday!! - Preston

You're growing every year, and I really think you are one of a kind and have a lot of courage and stamina after all you have been through. You certainly have a wonderful personality and have a lot of character traits that I wish other people could have - your kindness, love, and warmth. You have shown the world how wonderful you are.

Your warmth, kindness, and compassion shows through you clearly, and I wish we had more people in this world like you who are understanding and kind.
