  • i have a 4 year old basset hound and i agree, he is very active and walks with me every day and follows me everywhere i absolutely love basset's they are so adorable and loveable.

  • the sad thing is people mistake basset hounds for lazy fat and ugly dogs whent hey get older, which is totally untrue. my basset is five year's old and has no fat what so ever and is still adorable, if basset's are walk trwic a day and are fet correctly they are fine, fit, lovable dogs. the basset hound is one of the best and most loyal dogs i've ever encountered. they love being in the same room with you nomatter where you go they follow youif your gone to long. there is no better dog

  • I dont like this video because the bassets are so sad:-(

  • my 9 month old basset lives outside because she stinks even after with give her a bath. and she sheds like crazy even in her kennel!!

  • lol

  • do u get any sleep at night?

  • To all that wants a basset hound go for it you will not regret it. I have a 9 yr old basset hound Floppy and she is great. Lost a 13 yr old basset hound Elvis 7 yrs ago. Floppy is an active basset hound and Elvis was a lazy hound. Gotta get hound. Basset that is.

  • Had a male basset which a LOT of people (who had females) wanted for breeding. First time he tried, she couldn't hold him up. They're very heavy up front. Finally held her up so he could 'do his business' and I remember the look on his face. It was like, "Thanks man!"
