MOVING DIALOGUE - A Bucharest / New York Dance Exchange

Moving Dialogue: A Bucharest/New York Dance Exchange is a creative, cultural exchange fostering engagement and interaction between both emerging and established contemporary American and Romanian dance artists. Taking place October 16 -- June 2011, the project will focus on dialogue, networking, artistic process and professional development through studio research and residencies, classes and workshops, group practice sessions, panel discussions, and informal performances. Moving Dialogue is presented by Movement Research, Romanian Cultural Institute in New York, National Dance Center Bucharest, Dance Theater Workshop and Gabriela Tudor Foundation. Artists participating include: Mihaela Dancs, Paul Dunca, Madalina Dan, Vava Stefanescu, Gina Serbanescu, Cosmin Manolescu (Romania), with Maggie Bennett, Jillian Pena, Hejin Jang, Jon Kinzel and Levi Gonzalez (USA).
