Internet connectivity in Northern Ireland is the lowest in the UK. EverybodyOnline aims to help these communities and individuals overcome any barriers they may have to digital technology and the Internet.
What is unique about EverybodyOnline in Northern Ireland however, is that projects are looking to focus on and engage with groups of individuals who have been identified as disadvantaged in terms of social exclusion, age or disability.
Throughout each of the programmes, the focus is to provide access to technology, while improving the literacy skills, learning opportunities or employability. That is, how people can use computers and Internet for pursing leisure interests, hobbies or for maintaining communication with relatives or friends. Here you can meet the project officers who will be working towards digital inclusion in Northern Ireland.
