  • Hey, it's Jolee Bindo! Shoo, shoo!!

  • @sleepybrownbear Ha ha! I've never played KotOR, but I saw a video with Bindo, and yeah, Kevin Michael Richardson's voice is hard to miss!

  • Thanks for this, MNINL, this is youth sentiment for me! It's still one of the best RPGs out there..

  • @LordsOfTheGreenLeaf Sure, LC (or AB?)--I'm glad you still feel so strongly about this game! :)

  • Baldur's gate is probably the RPG with the most rich/decent stories. Today's rpg's are so much based on actions, and weak stories.

  • @RiseofBane The problem I have with more recently released titles is they tend to lack freedom of choice: you tend to get railroaded into good vs. evil choices (netural if you're lucky) with too many assumptions about why you made those choices; progression is usually too linear, not allowing you to explore the world "in parallel"; and not allowing you free reign (e.g., they usually won't allow you to kill certain NPCs).

In short, a good RPG lets you write your own story. :)

  • This is the game which introduced Forgotten Realms and D&D to me so many years ago...

Thanks for doing this playthrough, brings back memories:)

  • @mynameisnotlilly and Lilly is writing her own story ! Her adventure has been, about her. I never thought it was about Baldur's Gate, nor Bioware :)

  • @mynameisnotlilly LC in this case :-)

  • @mynameisnotlilly Even greater RPGs let you kill children (Fallout 1&2) ;D
