It's impossible to get Aero Glass on Vista basic. That's just the Windows Vista Standard theme. Just like theres an ugly Windows Classic, and then Standard... It's basicly the same situatuation.

nothing changed on my vista either. i hate HOME BASIC aargh. i have been on this stupid vista all day trying a bunch of stuff and nothing changes i wannna screammmm gosh dammit all.

Oh, No, I not see the Alpha Blend effect on the windows, i have this configuration on my computer...exist other option for alpha blend and the other cool effects?...but not a external program....

REMEMBER:Vista basic aero is just basic and not transparent like Vista premium.
