guess we should thank Chris Ayres, since he started playing Freeza we get quality fandubs like this cause everyone heard a new (and in my opinion) better way of hearing Freeza.

@soldierkei I've been voicing Frieza in this manner for quite a while now. Long before Ayres played the role. In fact, I personally prefer Linda Young over him; my take on Frieza was inspired by her and his original Japanese voice actor, Ryūsei Nakao.

@Pgirts really? hmm I can hear the Ryusei influence but I cant really hear the Linda. What elements of her performance did you add to yours, if you mention it, i'll probably hear it then

@soldierkei The two things from her performance that I pulled for my take were a slightly gravelly tone to his voice and the more methodical tone to his speech. Young doesn't speak quickly in the role. Rather she draws out what Frieza says. By giving him a slower cadence, she makes the character far more calm and menacing, at least for me. So naturally, I wanted to emulate that.
