Somehow I think if he gets in he'll get the job done. He wasn't flashy in high school, then in college at the U got some confidence and the rest is history. He's athletic and got a great nose for the ball. He's also a team player, if he's on the field all he cares about is how he can help the team. Will never forget the State Basketball Tournament in 2004 don't know if he scored a point but ask anyone his defensive play played a big part in their success.

i sure do to. i watched him at montana all four years, mostly in person, and he has so many crushing hits its almost sickening. i completely agree that the vikes should give him a shot, they dont have a lot to lose at safety this year...but im just glad that he's gettin a shot at the nfl i suppose

I'd never heard of this guy untill he signed with my team the Vikings. I started looking for some film on him after that and he's a beast. I'd like to see him get a spot on the the 53-man roster. The Vikings safeties have done nothing this year. 7 games in and neither one has an INT and they miss tackles every game. Minnesota gave him a rather large signing bones for an undrafted free agent(20,000 dollars) so I have high hopes dat he gets a shot this season at least on special teams.
