@caveatemp a huge claim requires huge evidence and there is none of that in the bible. the bible has done nothing good for humanity other than repress people for thousands of years. the church is always dragged kicking and screaming for every bit of social progress made just to take credit for it later.

@caveatemp I have the bible. I have gone through it. I did not read every words but I found big chunks and read. if you read that and do question it there is something wrong. why would a god make a book to tell his story? if he wanted to he could just write it in sky every night.

@mamushi72sai5575 You're assuming personhood is limited to hominids. God created us in God's image, male and female. If something doesn't make sense to you, you should look to your understanding and not your skin deep theological grasp at the moment. In other words, if something doesn't make sense to you, find out. Knock and the door will be opened to you.

@caveatemp sorry man, the universe is known to be billions of years old and people have only been around for a flash. so how could a person create everything billions of years before people existed? it just makes no sense.

@DixonCox99 Shows you have really bad theological understanding. Hell is a torture but it is self inflicted. No one in hell will ever ask to get out. Read Jesus' parable of of Lazarus and the rich man.

@mamushi72sai5575 Because you deny that you are a created being. You can deny the existence of God and not "hate" God, per se. You instead hate the church, the body of believers. This is Christ manifest in the world today. You have lots of support from so-called Christians. Most Christians don't believe in the church either.

We can discuss the issue but my experience is that most atheists are close minded and hateful towards God.
