8x8 LED Matrix connected directly to PIC18F452 @ 8MHz. Uses PWM routine to dim LED's while doing ASCII values. Programming and connections via EasyPIC4 Dev. Board. USB powered.

  • screw up little bit the clock pulse. so it changes little bit faster ;)

  • haha that's what I ended up doing! Within the first week, I coded a digital clock with an AM/PM dot and time colon on a 4 digit 7-segment LED. Now I just need to find the time to calibrate the second.

  • buy an arduino starter kit! great pace to start and you can build some really cool stuff.

  • did u use binary to program? cuz with tht many chips, u must had a lot of scripts to go through.

  • how would you get started in doing things like this? Get a book on electrical engineering or what?
