Cherno Samba the prolific Gambian international striker scores against Tunisia.

Natural goal scorer, pace and touch means can play in any forward position. Prolific goal scorer as a teenager recognized by international honours for England at every level up to u-21.

Collapse of planned transfer to Liverpool interrupted his career but is now re-established following senior international appearances for Gambia.
Much matured since brief spell at Plymouth (2006)
Impressed hugely in two-week trial at Blackburn Rovers (winter '08/'09) but not offered contract due to management changes at club.

April '09, successfully terminated contract with FC Haka.
Trialled successfully at Portsmouth under Paul Hart but highly publicized circumstances at the club conspired against him being offered contract.

Signed short-term contract with FC Panaitolikos in January 2010 until present day and now available as a non-contract player.


Starring performance for Gambia in most recent senior international match versus Mexico in Germany on 30th May 2010.

Called in to Gambia squad for CAN Qualifier v Namibia (04-09-10)

Experienced in playing throughout Europe.
