carter wins in 19.63. tyson gay second in 19.70, usain bolt 3rd in 19.88 and wallace spearmon, jr. 4th in 19.90. what an amazing race. add justin gatlin, asafa powell and sean scawford and you have your 200m finalists for beijing and a sizzling race.

...was, until Bolt ran the World record of 19.30 which became the fastest and relegated Johnson's record to second at 19.32, now recenly Tyson's 19.58 effort in New York is third, but I think he has another effort around 19.62, so this could very well be fifth.

@lovetownsend That's a good point, they go by the chest, in such close races or any race near a record, wearing some kind of chest pad would cut a few hundreths. Crazy.
