  • Exceptional judiciousness and sympathy with the notes distinguish this performance almost all others. There are both stormier and more grounded performances, but Bolet achieves a rewarding equilibrium.

  • Et quel plaisir d'écouter ce magnifique Bechstein d'alors!

  • THIS IS MADNESS!!!!!

  • Yet another great performance from Bolet: he invents a repertoire, not played before, and now every pianists tries.

  • I love Liszt's transcribtion of Wagners music - perfect grasp of Wagners DIMENTIA, VERY AMUSING!

  • I think it's more than fingers and mind. Sauer says he heard Rubinstein play the Moonlight then told Liszt about it . Liszt decided to play for him. Sauer says the floor and universe gave way. So how could Brahms have been so tired that he fell asleep during the master playing his sonata!!!??? This gorgeous Cuban pianist had it all.My teacher said he had a larger technique than even Horowitz ! But he didn't have that crzy kind of magic .No one did not Arrau Backhaus,Horowitz !

  • Brings tears to ny eyes--so ecstatic! Thanks

  • Thank you!

  • Astounding!

  • Oh, the beggining!

  • it's the sound of humanity and love to the art that's shining through Bolet's playing! Love it.

  • "Nuff" stands for "enough".
