Ron Paul says some outrageous things. Is he the change we need or just change?

  • @nowmobinet Ha ha nowmobinet that is creative. You are missing the point though, Jefferson would never have even imagined federal government involved in education. Even if he himself wanted it, it was left out of the constitution for a reason.

  • @farneyblakeley Lol in reality it is the other way around. Paul always shows respect though, even when he is talking to these idiots.

  • Russert's whole demeanor is that he is dealing with a crazy man who must be exposed. Way to be a champion of business as usual Mr Russert it's really paying off for us now RIP

  • Get rid of public school? "Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."-- Thomas Jefferson

  • Tim Russert doesn't even understand the depth of what Ron Paul is saying. It is clear that Tim Russert is intelligent but is ignorant to what Ron Paul is really saying.

Russert puts his trust in the WALSTREET JOURNAL.

Ron Paul has first hand education and knowledge about the government system both of them are having the discussion on. SO TELL ME, WHICH ONE REALLY UNDERSTANDS WHAT IS REALLY GOING ON IN THE SYSTEM.

  • Yes, but can he win.

  • Srhandel. RP has no problem with responsible oil exploration in anwar or anywhere else for that matter that I am aware of. Ron is the voice of reason in washington. A true man of principle.

  • What is Ron Paul's position on drilling for oil?? Does he want to drill, or is he of an environmentalist mind? We need to become independent of the Arab countries oil.

  • Russert was engaging in the same kind of "Gotcha" journalism that he helped make famous! Russert did everything to swing the context of the interview away from the core issues that Paul is advocating, to some woulda' coulda' bullshit about the civil war. Tim Russert came to meet the press as a political insider and nothing will ever change that. No matter how nice a guy Tim was, and I'm sure he was a great guy, he worked for, and advanced, the agenda's of those who would sink this nation.

  • Tim Russert was doing his job, do you want to sit there and agree with everything or ask him questions. That's what a good interviewer does.
