I remember a concert in Hamburg's Stadtpark in 1991 (?) , Happy Mondays were expected to headline a gig of indie and rave groups and halfway through the concert some official walks up to the mic and announces that they won't be playing, apparently their singer had fallen ill and could hardly move. Well, everyone had their ideas and instead of a riot you had cheers and laughter all around. Dee-Lite then finished us off big time !
