This is running a stock Yamaha YZF600R Thundercat at Laguna Seca at Yamaha owners appreciation event. I had the only 600R out there. After this 2-day event, I think its time to change up the gearing! This is just a couple laps, nothing fancy.

Why not use clutch for upshifts ?

You have to use clutch for upshifting on the YZF600R. Yamaha continued to use the old 3 dog gears on the newer YZFr's even though they went to 4 dog's on the '04+ R6's. From experience and $1200 (that was for parts alone, I did the work), you will cook 2nd and 3rd gear dog's.

I hate noob 1000cc riders.... bad on the brakes, bad in the corners... AWESOME IN STRAIGHT LINES!
