i think the trailer gives away a little too much. we all knew the shower thing was coming because it was so famous, but when this film first came out, even though the trailer revealed that bad shit was gonna go down, people were so surprised, because to them it seemed like the film was gonna be focusing on janet leigh's money problems
I first saw this movie in a film studies class at school (but the teacher had to stop it about 20 minutes before the end of the movie). Then I saw that it was on Turner Classic Movies and I watched the whole thing from Robert Osborne's commentary before the beginning of the movie to his commentary at the end. Even though I found the end to be creepy, I fell in love with the movie and with the main character Norman Bates.
the best movie ever made. Tony Perkins was so good in this film,he's acting is very good.He should won an Oscar for portraying Norman Bates!!! gawd! love u Tony. :D
