2nd listen to-day after the live version on 30 seconds...this is the shit baby..we're lucky we had this stuff while it lasted..popular "taste" and economic necessity dictated the pure horse-shit that followed (with a few notable exceptions) when the golden age ('64-'74) ended

This is one my favorite tunes of all time.......too bad the young musicians dont have the drive to learn how to play like the old hippies back in my day........sad. Kaukonen and the group kick ass. boy bands, diva chicks, PLEASE.......they suck festering cow udders!

I wonder if the Airplane ever got any royalties from the flying toaster screen saver people...anyone know anything about that?

I can't say I disagree, but the other members of the band also made the Airplane happen. That band could not have done what they did without the rest of the core members during the years after Grace Slick joined the band. Marty, Paul, Grace, Jack, and Spencer were just as important.. I have respect for all of them as musicians, they made some amazing music.Kantner is an asshole, but Jefferson Airplane would never have existed without him or any of the other main members.

He and Grace were the best things about the Airplane, IMO.
