Would be great if the actual movie was just as good.

Awful movie.

@jmaer91 agree

Who actually looked up the movie "Dog Day Afternoon" He was speaking of?

Going against the governments doesn't make you the bad guy, it makes you a fucking hero and a patriot !.

I think he was talking about a more realistic sensibility in the way the characters acted as opposed to what actually transpires. In this way I think this movie is interesting in that it juxtaposes the two different aspects.
-
Its weird that he uses Dog Day Afternoon as his example to criticize the lack of realism in Hollywood since that movie was based on a true story. Not to mention this movie is about as realistic as Harry Potter. Were they trying to be ironic here?

@PeterZeeke And it obviously went over YOUR head big time.

Okay, dumbass that put this together. You have to include the part when he gets up and the other guys follow him with the automatic weapons. That way, whoever is watching this gets completely hooked in to watching this. Right now it seems like some high rolling, holllywood power brokers pontificating about cinema. Way to fuck it up.

@Kingopersia it is nice and long, could be a nice smoke. And coffee - nice- but he does not finish either.
"...The cinematography, the acting, the screen play all top-notch....But...... *lights Cigar*.... they didn't push the envelope." = Pure Awesomeness

This dialog is fantastic. Thought provoking, intelligent, controversial. It allows the audience to form their own answers to what he is saying. Brilliant.
