I remember a political cartoon in 1969 in the New York Daily News. It showed confused and meek Bill Fiore wearing a Baltimore uniform and the load Chuck McCann character wearing a Mets uniform grinning from ear toear.

Dear Chuck Collins, Mr.McCann's history of his NYC based tv shows in inaccurate..He left NYC kdis tv in June,1968. And in 1975..he was doing"Far Out Space Nuts"on CBS
TV. The only tv show that he did in NYC during the winter of
1975 was hosting reruns of old movies on WNEW TV Ch.5
in NYC.

Well, he IS 78 years old. He's bound to get his dates and times mixed up. But it DOES come from the horse's mouth, so to speak, and not some random "fact" on Twitter.
