not great at all at the darkest ratio you get an x out on picture the cause to this is glass runs over and frames out ,its a shame it would have been handy just to crry 1 versatile filter instead of several

Eh, no it wont, at least not one circular polariser screwed onto another. You can make it work by turning the glass backwards in the first or by sourcing a linear polarised filter but the results are never great anyway because of variances in the pitch of the polarising element... you might get 5 or 6 stops at best. Save yourself heartache and dissappointment and buy a real one :)
I own one and you can't use it bright conditions with sun. Best for a cloudy day. As stated below a soft x pattern occurs in the sun.
