My Video Tribute to Kerry Decker - 12/12/09 - part 2 of 2

Here is my video tribute to good friend Kerry Decker, who passed away on Dec. 9, 2009. Kerry and I shared a great friendship for 32 years. Kerry was KKD1247 on YouTube, Facebook, and MySpace. Ironically, he passed only 2 days before what would have been his 62nd birthday on Dec. 11th. This is part 2 of 2.

My heart also goes out for his family and friends.

I looked up to Kerry as a mentor, and he was a good friend too. I wish I knew him longer, but it was very much a pleasure to know him. I actually met him through subbing to you Ray. I found you looking up Ghoulardi of all things. Then I saw your's and his vids together, and subbed his ch too. He was a good teacher, a wealth of knowledge. Please reminis if you will, we enjoy your sharing great fond memories of your best friend.

This was a great tribute to Kerry. I never knew him personally, but I did enjoy his videos on YouTube, and I've even taken a couple of his cooking suggestions. It's sad to know I'll never see him again, but I'm glad I got to experience one of the pioneers of video. I only wish his family and you the best, and I look forward to more videos from you in the future.

Ahh, doesn't surprise me from what I've heard that Kerry had an imac! The creme de la creme for video editing-aparently, but I learnt in sony vegas and can't figure out the imovie stuff!

What a beautiful friendship, brought about in an amazing way.

I never knew him to miss him, but now I wish I had. Thank You so much for this tribute, for sharing your story.

I hope that you read this Ray. I'm a member of the YouTube community since 2006 and have come to feel that I know you and Kerry since I first discovered your channels.

I was in the middle of producing a video tribute to both of you for all that you've contributed to to video and for your intense dedication.

It is with profound sadness that I receive the news that Kerry has passed. Way too young.

He was a class act. I would like to complete my tribute. It's a sad day for me. Stay on YT Ray.
