HISTORY OF METAL part 7/7: BETTER !
This serie of 7 videos shows the evolution of Metal music (in broad sense) from 1964 to 1996. For each (sub-)genre, I've tried to find one of the major band contributing to it, and one of the first song they wrote enabling to define it.
This is not exact science, there's a part of subjectivity in the selection, and even in the genre naming, please be indulgent.
Please also note that it is not a list of all famous Metal bands.
The songs are presented chronologically, but only with year-resolution (2 songs of the same year may have been released in the opposite sequence with regards to what's presented).
