Wow, beautiful work Robert, very elegant and perfect in style with the classic design. Best I've seen on the net! Just bought a vintage Klepper Aerius 20, get it next week. Wonder if you would be as kind as to send the measurements and maybe a shot of how you attachted the rig to the hull ;) I'll sent you my email!

Thx for your response- I made outriggers but not so complex and well designed as yours. I used a 2 inch wooden doll and two kayak inflatable floats. I bolt the rig to my fiberglass klepper haul. They work ok- if I send you a photo can you have a look? - So the braces in the vid. are not plywood correct?
Do you have blue prints?

@NextLevelVideo360 My email: robertchouinard@yahoo.com for your photo. The braces in the video are spruce 2x10"x8' . The grain was big and I broke one. That 's why now I used two layers of plywood glued together and i fiberglassed the whole thing. I don't have blue prints. but can probably send you a rough drawing for the idea. Then you can modified as you please.

Are the outriggers hand made?
NextLevelVideo360 1 year ago
@NextLevelVideo360
Yes they are hand made. The floats are 1/4" plywood with polyester resin construction, and fiberglass at all seams. The braces are now in plywood laminated, and cover in fiberglass. It's easy to put all the parts together with butterly nuts, and it's holding to the coaming of the kayak by double J-bolts.
The floats are 8' long.
