The International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD) in partnership with UNEP and the Asia Pacific Network and in close collaboration with national partner documented baseline information on the Himalayan glaciers, glacial lakes, and GLOFs in an earlier study which identified some 200 potentially dangerous glacial lakes in the Himalayas. The movie published here builds upon these past initiatives and investigates the impact of climate change on selected glaciers and glacial lakes.
