*Due to popular demand, the audio has been replaced.* Actual draw time is 32 min. Begun w/ a notebook paper sketch. Drawn in SketchBook Pro with Wacom Intuous4, recorded in HyperCam2, then scaled in QuickTime Pro.

  • what did you use to screen capture program did you use

  • @bebebeme3 HyperCam2. It was however accelerated via QuickTime Pro by aligning it to a music track.

  • You're quite talented. I have a similar workflow of roughing it out and layer by layer adding more detail then the previous one, refining as I go. I don't have the speed thing going for me though, I may spend a few hours and not like anything I put down then come back the next day and start all over again. I use the original Intuous, which to me is still far better then the newer smaller tablets Wacom has put out.

  • @MichelleDri Thanks! I find the iterative / refinement process to be particularly advantageous in digital formats. I just wish the Cintique is a bit more affordable, because I like to physically turn the surface (or paper) that I'm drawing it.

  • I love your sketches because theyre not hard firm decisions. I like the looseness hence your multilayers. I like it. can you tell me if theres a learning curve when using a tablet on desktops?

  • @DaeV1id in case my previous response was not received, as i failed to reply directly to this comment... the learning curve isn't so bad. It is mostly a matter of mechanics. It it critical to customize/set the pressure sensitivity of the tablet to a level that you're comfortable with -- so you may have the best results.

  • How does this have any DisLikes. Your style is amazing.

  • Wonderful sketch .

  • @MichelleDri Thanks! This is what's so tricky about screen capture drawing sessions. It is a large investment in terms of time and technical resources. Pen and paper still got its perks.

  • For those who are used to drawing on paper, tablets may take some time to adjust to because the drawing surface and its feel are different. Something important to do is to adjust the pressure sensitivity of the tablet so it matches your needs.
