When are you going to admit that Aguilera is a freaking good singer/musician?

I think that you still keep judging her on the base of her teenage songs.

She has proven to be a diverse performer who can sing from Lennon to Tina Turner.

So stop mocking her for "ruining" your best artist's song and stop evaluating the covers based on whether they stick true to the original or not.

Listen and feel with an open mind .. then judge!

Have to agree with the top comments. I hate shit music as much as the next guy, but this is actually good cover. And she CAN sing. Her voice might not be everyone's cup of tea but her level of talent is obvious.

@JoelHappe The problem is that Lennon and McCartney were two of the greatest singers of all time. Thus, Beatles covers (or solo covers as in this case) have usually paled.

First time i listened to CAs cover was on the radio 3 or 4 years ago, I was driving on my car late at night and i immediately recognized CAs voice, although i'm not a fan of her, i really liked the song, but i must confess that i didn't know Mother at that time, i tried to google it, but with no luck, it always came out "oh mother", it was a few months ago, that randomly i came up with the song and found out it was john lennons. Both version are awesome. Christina's voice is powerful

@remedykisses That's so true... I totally understand. i am fan of Aguilera, so I would dislike a cover of one her songs ... even though the cover were awesome, they just can't beat the original. u.u.. still as musician I would admit a good job even when I don't like it.
