Battlefield 3 PC, 1865m EXTREME RANGE HEAD SHOT, M39-EMR, Operation Firestorm

This is a 1865 head shot on Operation Firestorm WITH AN ACTUAL GUN. Me and this other sniper were going back and forth and I finally got him. Before the patch came, this was impossible, now, we don't even know the limit. I'm currently 321st on the leaderboard. I'm guessing this is probably one of the highest legit sniper shots recorded. Most people used the EOD Bot.

The gun is the M39 with a 12x ballistic scope.

A good organised Squad always needs a Recon to spot enemies and help killing them.

@Baconmaster92 See, people don't get that. If I hadn't taken that sniper out, he could have been picking off people working the objectives. That's what snipers do; we take care of those who are on the battlefield, making sure they aren't getting killed from afar. People are too thick to consider this, though. @Dell90wattAC you weren't supporting anyone. You were sitting across the other side of the map doing jack shit wasting all your ammo on one person. Yeah you took him out, but you could have done it a lot faster if you were actually near the battlefield. Look how much you were losing by, if you actually helped you wouldn't have lost that badly.

An organized squad does need a recon, but not for what he's doing. A good recon player plays objectively. That means spawn beacons and mav up, acting as a support character. Bottom line, if you want to win the game, thats how you play. Of course, people care more about high personal score to win/loss ratio

OMG terrible!!! Games are full of people doing this. The team is getting absolutely destroyed in this clip. Spotting and even killing someone from that distance does nothing to help the team. They cannot spawn on you way out there, they are down a man to cap flags, and ur equipment is useless. That dude you killed; yeah he's coming right back in 10 seconds anyway. Fun getting a long shot like that, but please people get one out of ur system and get back to playing the game like it was meant to.

I dont mind snipers on conequest... what pisses me off is when your attacking on rush mode on devamands peak, and the snipers just sit up in the spawn sniping... its retarded.
