My channel has been very quiet of late. A hand injury has prevented me from making any decent recordings.

This was recorded during a session and is a variation on "Peg Leg Boogie" which was originally written for Peg, channel:
http://www.youtube.com/user/PegLeg2702
who used the music for one of her videos:

My left hand still has a way to go, but, things are looking up.
I don't have a permenant internet connection and it proves difficult to stay in touch with many of you on a regular basis. This is my first chance to wish many of you a Happy New Year.
Regards ... LMF

  • Wow this really rocks!.. I'm suffering now from carpal tunnel in my left hand, can't play :( Great sound out of that guitar you have.

  • @ood2112: Sorry to hear that you suffer from CTS ... that must be really frustrating. It's the left hand I'm having trouble with too. It seems to be easing up a little at the moment ... I'll keep my fingers croseed.

    Thanks for listening!

    Regards ... Michael.

  • Must be really frustrating for you not being able to play as much as you'd like. Your playing still shines though mate, there are some really beautiful subtle touches on display here. Reminds me why I wanted to learn guitar. *****

    Wishing you a speedy recovery. = )

  • @loopyone73: Thanks Paul. It is indeed frustrating and I'm a tad worried at the moment. The problem seems to be getting worse and not better. Still, there are many things that we have to leave behind in life ... youth being one of them! lol

It's even difficult to type at the mo.

Thanks for the get well wishes and for stopping by.

    See you soon, regards, Michael.

  • Yeah, we leave youth behind hopefully in exchange for wisdom. Your hand will get better, stay positive, there's no keeping a good man down. Healing vibes heading your way mate.....

    .....

....did you get 'em yet? =)

  • @loopyone73: №2: Yeah for sure!! I'm smiling now ... ☺

  • awesome my friend, I love that finger picking sound, rock on!!!

  • @TwirreTalks: #2: I'll send you a longer PM tommorrow! Sleep well and thanks for the messages.

  • @ElemeFF So there is healing possible again, do I understand that it hurts too much, or is it the tendon, that causes that you only can play for a few minutes? Take the time to let it heal, Michael, although I am aware of the experience of not being patient myself, haha. I found the link and the great work! I hope it heals totally, Michael, so that you can do, what you love to do, creating great work during daytime and on your guitar again!

    Roeleke

  • @TwirreTalks: Hi Roeleke! The problem with my hand is a result of a fall in the snow at Christmas.

I'm still having trouble with a damaged tendon and it looks as if it is going to take some time to mend. I used to play for at least 2 hours a day ... at the moment I can only manage a few minutes.

I've sent you a PM with a link to view some of the work I used to do.

    MIchael ♥
